Daybreak Orthodontics is a growing specialty practice in West Bedford, and we’re looking for a caring, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

New to orthodontics? That’s okay. Whether you’re an experienced hygienist or ready for a change of pace from general practice, we’ll give you the hands-on training and mentorship you need to feel confident and meet orthodontic licensing requirements.

What your day looks like

•Working in a fully digital office

•Placing and removing custom aligner and braces technology

•Taking records: photos, scans, and radiographs

•Coaching patients (and parents!) on hygiene and care during treatment

•Working closely with our orthodontist and clinical team in a fast-paced, upbeat clinic

What you’ll bring

•A diploma or degree from an accredited dental hygiene program

•Current registration in good standing (or eligibility) in Nova Scotia

•Orthodontic experience is an asset, but not required

•A warm, clear communication style that puts patients at ease

•Solid knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and radiography

•Strong organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach

•A collaborative attitude: you like being part of a team that has each other’s backs
