Currently, we are recruiting for temporary/fill-in Dental Hygienists; this role would be ideal for candidates looking for flexibility and ease coordinating their work schedule. Located steps from the beautiful Halifax waterfront, we are excited to connect with interested candidates.
Responsibilities:
Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
Experience:
Completed Dental Hygiene diploma or Hygiene degree is required.
Current Dental Hygienist registration in good standing with Nova Scotia licensing/regulatory body.
Valid CPR certification.
Schedule:
Available shifts – Friday and Saturday, 8:00AM-5:00PM. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
