We are a patient-focused dental practice in Nova Scotia, dedicated to providing high-quality care in a warm, supportive environment. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives exceptional care, and we are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our practice. Key Responsibilities
-Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
-Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and risk assessments
-Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
-Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
-Ensure patient comfort during hygiene procedures by providing a calm, gentle, and caring experience
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
-Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
-Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the best patient outcomes
Qualifications
-Must be a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in Nova Scotia
-Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, equipment, and sterilization practices
-Excellent communication and patient education skills
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
-Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
-Experience in a dental practice setting is preferred but not required
