Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dynamic Oral Surgery Administrator to join our team. You MUST have Dental experience to be considered for this position.As an Oral Surgery Administrator, you will be responsible for day to day operations. This is a vital role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. Dental experience is required, you must love working with people of all ages, be a people person, and have a passion for working in a fast paced team environment. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and be the first and last point of contact to our patients.
Due to our referral base only office, English spoken and written must be extremely proficient.
Responsibilities:
– Answer phone calls, schedule, confirm patients and managing correspondence.
– Greet and assist clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
-Organize and maintain files and records (electronically)
– Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
– Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
– Maintain office supplies.
– Determine and establish office procedures and routines in a busy schedule
– File and organize documents, both physical and electronic, enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
– Knowledge of accounts receivable and collections.
– Provide administrative support to other staff as required.
– Work as a team member with the Oral Surgeon, Dental assistances, and Nurses.
Skills:
– Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Competencies in other languages is an asset, French preferred
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
– Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
– Ability to learn and work quickly; adaptable to change
– Familiarity with front desk operations and customer service principles
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills
-Previous experience as an Administrator is a must preferably dental.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
