Job Position: Dentist
Employer: Colchester Dental
Location: Truro, NS B2N 5N6
Salary: 5,760 to 7,500 bi-weekly (To be negotiated)
35 hours per week

Languages: English
Education: Degree in dentistry, licensed with NSRDDA
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Clean teeth
Diagnose dental diseases
Examine patients’ teeth, gums and surrounding tissue
Hire and train staff
Instruct patients on oral hygiene
Plan dental health treatment
Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth
Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery and other treatments
Supervise staff
Design bridgework, fit dentures and provide appliances
Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians
Credentials:
Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses:
Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification
