Description
Alliance Dental is seeking a confident and motivated Area Manager to support our clinics in Truro and New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. The role requires someone who is comfortable commuting between both clinic locations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys working with people, building great teams, and helping clinics operate at their very best. The Area Manager works closely with dentists, clinical teams, and leadership to ensure smooth operations, excellent patient experiences, and a positive workplace culture. You will not be doing this alone. As part of the Alliance Group of Companies, you will have access to experienced leadership, mentorship, and operational support to help you succeed in the role.
The Area Manager supports the daily operations of the clinics, leads and coaches administrative and clinical team members, assists with recruitment, onboarding and staff development, and helps ensure scheduling, workflow and patient experiences run smoothly. The role works closely with dentists and leadership to support practice growth while maintaining a positive, respectful and patient focused team culture. Providing guidance and mentorship to clinic administrative teams will also be an important part of this role.
We are looking for someone who is a natural leader and enjoys supporting teams, has strong organizational and communication skills, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities. Experience in healthcare, dental or clinic operations is considered an asset, though strong leadership and people management skills are equally important. The successful candidate will bring professionalism, problem solving ability and a collaborative approach to supporting teams.
